It's Official... Online Writing Workshops Are Live!

Well this is a bit bloody exciting guys… I’ve finally got my shit together and can announce I’m officially launching online workshops and courses in 2022!

I’m kicking things off with three awesome offerings, all of which are 100% bookable right freakin’ now.

  1. Write Like A Boss: Journalling For Writers

  2. Write Like a Boss: Editing Essentials

  3. Write Like a Boss: Telling Your Story

Currently they’ll all be held via Zoom but I’m definitely going to be holding some in-person workshops later in the year, complete with wine and nibbles (because, wine and nibbles). Hey, maybe even a writers’ retreat somewhere super serene and inspiring, who tf knows?!

For now, tap the links above or click right over here to check out what’s available, and please hit me up if you have any questions, you’re keen to talk personal mentoring or want to chat about private group bookings on dates not listed.

Speaking of one-on-one mentoring… I’ll be spilling more info on this soon, but if you’ve ever wanted your very own publishing person inside the industry to work with, a session or two might be just right for you. We can dive into anything you like, really – I’ve got years’ worth of insight into the magazine industry, writing for online (hello, SEO optimisation), how to create better copy for your business, tips and tricks for writing a book (I’ve done three, with another about to kick off)… so there’s a wealth of knowledge there I’d love to share with you.

But back to the writing workshops! Along with more dates for the workshops in editing and writing listed above, there’ll be more to come later in the year and you can expect me to be covering things like…

  • How to edit your own writing so it’s, frankly, a whole lot better (meaning editors will mess with it less after submission).

  • The grammar stuff you really need to know to make you sound smart and stuff when, you know, you write and whatnot.

  • Writing tips, tricks and how-tos for beginners who want to write but don’t know where to start.

  • Pitch perfect: how to sell your bangin’ ideas/products/clients to editors.

  • Successful SEO writing – yes, there’s a trick to nailing it!

Anyway, that’s enough rambling from me. (Can you tell I’m excited?) Can’t wait to see your face at the next workshop!
